Mr. David Hobbs
IHS CERA Chief Energy Strategist

Mr. Hobbs is an author of the major IHS CERA studies In Search of Reasonable Certainty: Oil and Gas Reserves Disclosures, a comprehensive analysis of the problem of assessing reserves, and Modernizing Oil and Gas Disclosures. He is also a principal author of a major IHS CERA assessment of the world economic crisis, "Recession Shock": The Impact of the Economic and Financial Crisis on the Oil Market, and of the IHS CERA Multiclient Study Harnessing the Storm - Investment Challenges and the Future of the Oil Value Chain, the author of the IHS CERA Private Report Daring to Be Disciplined: Continuous Portfolio Improvement, and a project advisor to the IHS CERA Multiclient Study Crossing the Divide: The Future of Clean Energy.

Mr. Edward Morse
Managing Director & Head of Global Commodities Research, Citigroup Global Markets Inc.

Edward L. Morse is a leading specialist on global commodities, with a special focus on energy. He has held senior positions in finance, publishing/consulting, business, government and academia. Dr. Morse joined Citigroup on May 24th 2011 as managing director and global head of commodity research. He recently held a similar position at Credit Suisse, from which he resigned in February, and before that at LCM Commodities and at Lehman Brothers.

He has published widely in such journals as Foreign Affairs, National Interest, The New York Times, The Financial Times and The Washington Post, and he is a frequent commentator on international energy on radio and television. Dr. Morse also serves on the editorial boards of OIL and Geopolitics of Energy. He current serves on advisory boards of a number of academic programs on energy, including the Centre for Energy, Environment, Marine Transportation and Public Policy at Columbia University. He also chairs the New York Energy Forum.

Mr. Eric Nuttall
Portfolio Manager of Sprott Energy Fund, Sprott Asset Management LP

Eric Nuttall is a Portfolio Manager with Sprott Asset Management LP. He joined the firm in February 2003 as a research associate and was subsequently promoted to the position of research analyst in 2005, associate portfolio manager in 2008, and then to portfolio manager in January 2010.

Eric is lead portfolio manager of the Sprott Energy Fund, and also co-manages the Sprott 2010 Flow-Through Limited Partnership and the Sprott 2011 Flow-Through Limited Partnership with Allan Jacobs.

In addition to his responsibilities for those two funds, Eric supports the rest of the Sprott portfolio management team with identifying top performing oil and gas investment opportunities. Further, Eric contributes towards internal macro energy forecasts, and his insight into emerging unconventional plays has been covered in several financial publications such as The Wall Street Journal Asia and Barron’s.

Eric graduated with high honors from Carleton University with an Honors Bachelor of International Business.
