
Robert D. McTeer is a Distinguished Fellow at the National Center for Policy Analysis; Former Chancellor, Texas A&M University; Former President & CEO, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. As a Fed policymaker, Bob gained a national reputation as an independent voice, or maverick, dissenting from the Alan Greenspan majority twice in 1999 and once in 2002. His dissents and his outspoken views and plain talk got him the labels “Lone Star Loner” and “The Lonesome Dove.” Bob got his B.B.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Georgia.
David L. Abramson is the Chief Commodity and Energy Strategist at BCA Research. From 2005 until early 2007, he was the Managing Editor of China Investment Strategy, an institutional service dedicated to a wide variety of currency, economic and financial market issues. Before joining BCA, he worked in the international department of the Bank of Canada for three years modeling exchange rates and trade flows. He holds a MBA and MA in International Relations form the University of Chicago, as well as a MA in Economics from Carleton University.
Timothy W. Hayes, CMT, is NDR’s Chief Investment Strategist. Tim joined the firm in 1986 and currently heads up the firm’s global and U.S. asset allocation services. He serves as Research Council coordinator and oversees NDR’s quarterly Investment Strategy, writing sections on strategy, asset allocation, U.S. stock market and style allocation, and global allocation.
Vahan Janjigian, CFA, is Chief Investment Strategist at Forbes and editor of Forbes Growth Investor and Special Situation Survey investment newsletters. He is also a member of the investment committee at Hillview Capital Advisors. Janjigian holds a BS degree in general science from Villanova University, and MBA and PhD degrees in finance from Virginia Tech. His research has been published in numerous scholarly and professional journals and his writings have appeared in Forbes magazine and Forbes.com. He is co-author and editor of the Forbes Stock Market Course and the author of Even Buffet Isn’t Perfect.
