An Associate Portfolio Manager at Nottingham Advisors will support the firm’s Investment Policy
Committee (IPC), the group responsible for all of the firm’s investment decision-making. The role is
designed to provide meaningful contributions throughout the entire portfolio management process.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Perform ad hoc fundamental research to assist in the development of new portfolio themes and
strategies, with a particular focus on macroeconomic trends and asset class valuation (equity,
fixed income, alternatives) Conduct exchange-traded fund due diligence through the use of research software including
Bloomberg Professional and Morningstar Direct, as well as direct interaction with ETF providers
Effectively utilize the firm’s portfolio management system (PMS), Orion, to fulfill client
Create and update “dealbooks” on various investment strategies for use with client prospects
Understand and support the firm’s proprietary trading process
Support the production of the firm’s regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly) research publications
- Undergraduate degree (preferably in finance, economics, or accounting)
- Strong academic track record
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work independently
- Highly skilled proficiency in spreadsheet modeling, graphing, and presentations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to pursue the CFA Charter
- Familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; MBA ideal
CFP designation required
2-3 years experience in financial advisory services role
Demonstrated ability to assist senior advisors in developing and managing plans and client relationships
Experience using financial planning software; preferably MoneyGuidePro
Flexible – willing to adjust priorities frequently

We are currently recruiting for an individual to join our Marketing Team.
The Product Manager will be primarily responsible for managing a set of related investment products managed by Manning & Napier. The position will report to the Managing Director of Marketing and will work closely with Research and various Sales channels. The Product Manager will serve as the firm’s primary spokesperson for the assigned products and must develop and maintain a strong knowledge of product features, including investment, operational, and competitive aspects. The position requires deep investment knowledge (CFA preferred) and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Develop and maintain a working understanding of each assigned product, including investment process, management team, operational features, pricing and cost structure, performance and competitive landscape
Create marketing message and all necessary marketing collateral to support the message. Work with marketing fulfillment, tactics and design teams to deliver collateral to field-facing representatives.
Consider channel-specific marketing needs and how messaging needs to be adjusted based on audience. Work with Practice Leaders when applicable to refine messaging by channel.
Prioritize product importance across channels to maximize sales opportunities
Assist in responding to Requests for Proposal related to the assigned products
Manage fee concession requests
Maintain a relationship with portfolio managers to stay on top of key developments in product positioning relative to our market outlook and current risks/opportunities
Develop a competitive universe for each product to better understand key strengths and weaknesses of each product
Present key messages to sales representatives and educate reps on key product features and selling points
Be available to assist sales representatives in the field for new business or service presentations
Act as the point of contact for PR opportunities relating to assigned products
Develop campaigns across channels to further product sales
Participate in product development discussions
Bachelors degree, with strong record of academic achievement
CFA and minimum 2 years product management or similar experience within the investment industry
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organization and prioritization skills
