CFA Institute Society Scholarship for June 2012 CFA Exams
CFA Society of Istanbul is accepting the scholarship applications from the candidates for the CFA exam, which will be held on June 2, 2012 in Istanbul, until 30 November 2011. The scholarship covers the exam fee except the stated amounts below depending on the preferred version of books:
- USD 250 ebook
- USD 310 printed book
- USD 340 ebook and printed book
You need to fill out the application form and email to scholarship@cfaturkishsociety.org along with your resume.
Applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Evaluation Committee. The results will be announced at our web site in December and by e-mail to the Scholars. If awarded, the candidates who have already paid the registration fees for the exam, are going to be reimbursed by CFA Institute after the book cost deduction.
10 candidates will be awarded the scholarship and Scholars are expected to become CFA Institute and Society members and volunteer to dedicate certain amount of time to serve the Society. Necessary information about the membership can be found on our membership web pages. For volunteer work, please contact us at info@cfaturkishsociety.org indicating your area of interest, keeping in mind that you may have to work in another area as needed.
In the last year, we received increasing number of complaints regarding to CFA books to be held at the customs. Although, this wasn't case for majority, we would like to inform you that in order to get the books released from customs, you might be required to pay custom fees. For this reason, we encourage you to choose "ebook" or "ebook and printed book" versipn during your registration.
