The CFA Society of Madison, in partnership with the Wisconsin School of Business and the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB) is pleased to announce the 2012 Madison Investment Conference to be held on May 31, 2012 at the Fluno Center on the campus of the University of Wisconsin. This conference will bring together experienced investors, pension fund professionals, leading academics, institutional consultants and legislators to discuss the ongoing challenge of asset allocation in today's uncertain world.
The conference will focus on the many investment challenges related to asset allocation and will be an opportunity to hear about new and unconventional strategies from some leading investment professionals working on pension funds around the country. We plan to discuss inflation risks and hedging strategies, as well as an examination of commodities and alternative asset class strategies.
The conference is an all-day event the provides a full day of speakers along with breakfast, lunch, and a cocktail reception.
