Mr. Mooers joined Black River Asset Management in January 2005 as Director, Global Marketing and Client Relations and was promoted to Managing Director in 2008. Mr. Mooers’ responsibilities include new business development globally and client relations for Black River. Prior to joining Black River, Mark was Vice President, Alternative Investments at American Express Asset Management.  In that role, he was responsible for capital raising and client relations for the alternative investments group at American Express. Mr. Mooers has a Bachelor of Science from The University of Wisconsin and an M.B.A. from The University of Minnesota. Mark also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation which he earned in 2005.
