Annette Masterson is a Managing Director, Fixed Income Research at The Travelers Companies Inc. She leads a team of sector specialized corporate credit analysts who cover investment grade and high yield corporates, private placements and bank loans. Prior to joining The Travelers in 2003, Annette headed the fixed income research and private placement group at Advantus Capital Management, the investment advisory arm of Securian Financial Group. She began her career in investments with The Principal Financial Group as a private placement and corporate bond analyst covering nonbank financials. Annette attended the University of Minnesota where she earned her B.A. in finance and her M.B.A., also in finance. She serves on the Greater Twin Cities United Way and Workers Compensation Reinsurance Association investment committees.
