Michael has more than 21 years of capital markets experience. From 1988 to 1993, he worked at The Bank of New York in the workout, bank loan syndication and middle market lending divisions.  From 1993 to 2005, he traded fixed income private placements for Allison-Williams Company, Libra Investments, RBC Dain Rauscher and Morgan Joseph. He was then involved in raising capital to support high yield lease transactions. In 2008 he returned to fixed income sales and trading and is currently focused on the mortgage-backed and corporate sectors. Michael received a BA in Economics from Rutgers University in 1986, an MBA in Finance/International Business from New York University in 1988 and his CFA Charter in 1997. He joined the CFA Society of Minnesota’s Board of Directors in 2006 and in his previous role as Treasurer, was instrumental in bringing executive management of the Society back in house. Mike is currently working part time for CFAMN, coordinating our sponshorship efforts. A third generation native of Brooklyn and a bit of a blunt instrument, we keep him around in case some heads need knocking together.
