Scholarship Announcement
Finance & Economics Majors
The CFA Society of Orange County Foundation (“CFAOCF”) is proud to announce the availability of one (1) $2,500 educational scholarship for Economics/Finance majors with an interest in Investment Studies at Orange County area universities. The scholarship is intended to reward students for their academic achievements and encourage their pursuit of a career in the professional investment management industry.
Requirements:

Undergraduate Business student with Junior or Senior standing

Enrolled at an accredited university with a presence in Orange County

Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per semester (i.e., minimum half-time student status)

Completed at least one 3-hour Economics/Finance course with a grade of “B” or better
-
Major or minor emphasize in Economics / Finance / Investments

Deadline: Applications must be postmarked by December 16, 2011
The scholarship will be paid by the CFA Society of Orange County Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation. The winners of the scholarship will be announced and the scholarship paid in early January 2012.
Note: Immediate family and members of the households of the CFAOCF Scholarship Selection Committee are not eligible for these scholarships.
