CFA Access Scholarships - Available for 2016 Exams
The Access Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship available for individuals who are unable to afford the full CFA Programme enrolment and registration costs.
In shortlisting applicants for this scholarship, CFA Singapore has put in place additional criteria. Candidates will be assessed on various areas, including but not limited to, their financial situation, scholastic ability/academic merit, their past experiences in participating in/volunteering with the Society activities (such as the CFA Research Challenge), etc. Shortlisted candidates may also be required to provide additional information to support their application and may be required to attend an interview.
- Financial need
- Scholastic ability/academic merit
- Membership or participation in the Society's CFA Preparatory Programme or activities
- An interview by CFA Singapore Candidate Programmes Committee (only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews)
- Writing the CFA Examination
Awarded on or before 1 December to be applied to the exams in the following year. If awarded, the recipient will receive a waiver on the CFA Program enrolment fee and have the exam registration fee (including the access to the curriculum eBook) reduced to US$250*.
The recipient can apply scholarship for June and December 2016 exams, deadline of submission is on 15 September 2015. The applicant would need to wait until the scholarship notification occurs in December prior to registering for the 2016 exams, otherwise applicant will be disqualified.
After submitting your scholarship application, you cannot make any changes.
If your financial situation changes, you may withdraw your application from consideration before 1 October of the year in which you applied.
If you received a scholarship and registered for the exam, you must sit for that exam of you may be ineligible for future Access Scholarships.

CFA Awareness Scholarships (for University Lecturers and Students)
In collaboration with our University Relations team, we offer Awareness Scholarships to key influencers in the media, academic, and financial communities, such as college/university faculty, college students affiliated with our Recognized Universities and CFA Program Partner Schools, select regulatory agencies, and media organisation employees around the world.
The Awareness scholarships are merit-based scholarships designated for key influencers in the academic and financial communities. Awardee gets the CFA Programme enrolment and exam registration fee (includes access to the curriculum eBook) reduced to US$350* and it is awarded as they are received and processed.
Recipients of the June scholarship may only apply it to the upcoming June exam (Level I, II and III).
Recipients of the December scholarship may only apply it to the upcoming December exam (Level I).
