CFA Preparation

The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) credential is held by over 178,000 professionals across 165 countries.

The charter gives a strong understanding of advanced investment analysis and real-world portfolio management skills.

The CFA Program is a self-study, graduate-level program divided into three levels of exams. Passing these exams is one step to becoming a CFA charterholder.

Candidate Support

Apart from the official curriculum, CFA Institute provides a number of learning resources to candidates including mock exams, exam guidelines, and study planners.

Approved Prep Providers for CFA Program

In addition to studying the CFA Program curriculum, mastering the learning outcome statements (LOS), and taking the topic tests and mock exam,

some candidates also benefit from using exam prep courses and/or review notes.

The CFA Institute has created the Approved Prep Provider Program to help exam prep providers improve their educational programs, products, and services.

Providers participating in the program agree to follow these guidelines and high standards in their promotions and communications to candidates.

CFA Society Sri Lanka Candidate Council

The Candidate Council of CFA Society Sri Lanka (CC) aims to support both the educational and professional development of CFA candidates in Sri Lanka.

Led by a team of shareholders, the CC conducts a range of exam prep activities and also facilitates opportunities for candidates to interact with peers,

CFA charterholders as well as industry leaders through networking events.

Registered candidates can obtain annual membership of the CC for a nominal fee and are entitled to a host of benefits throughout the year including:

- Free access to CC events and activities

- Exclusive discounts on select prep provider packages

- Free access to Continuous Education (CE) events and other select events hosted by the CFA Society of Sri Lanka
