CFA Society France

A Member of the CFA Institute Global Network of Societies

 Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide our members with professional development, sense of community and networking opportunities primarily via regular conferences and events. We also seek to maintain constructive relations with local financial and regulatory institutions and promote the professional and ethical standards of CFA Institute.

 About CFA Society France

The French Society of Investment Professionals was established in 1998 to bring together and support CFA Institute members and charterholders. The society was renamed Association CFA France in 2005, CFA France in 2011 and CFA Society France in 2013. It is the French local society of CFA Institute, run entirely by volunteers and regrouping local investment professionals consisting of portfolio managers, investment advisors, educators and other financial professionals.

Our members work in many professions throughout France with the vast majority working in portfolio management. Their average age is 30 years.

Due to the strong acceptance of the CFA charter and the importance of this designation in the global arena, we have seen our membership grow 20-30% each year to reach over 700 in 2014.

We promote:

What Does CFA Society France Bring to the French Investment Community?

NETWORKING: CFA Society France provides a forum for CFA charterholders, members and candidates to network with other investment professionals.

INTERNATIONALISM: CFA Society France provides a link to a global network of investment practitioners, many of whom are leaders in their field. We seek to bring leading speakers, both practitioners and academics to our members.

COMMUNICATION: CFA Society France acts as a focal point for enquiries regarding the CFA qualification and other important issues associated with CFA Institute.

EDUCATION: CFA Society France encourages continuing education by holding a variety of educational seminars throughout the year. CFA Society France also provides a high level of ongoing support to CFA candidates, through the scholarship program, the Last Tips meeting and the CFA Society France mock exams.
