John Ashely, General Manager, Financial Services and Technology, NVIDIA
John Ashley currently leads the Global Financial Services and Technology
team at NVIDIA. Previously, he started and led the Professional
Services Deep Learning Practice for NVIDIA and the NVIDIA Deep Learning
Professional Services Partner program, working
to help customers and partners adopt and deliver deep learning
solutions, managed the relationship with IBM’s Software and Cognitive
groups, was a senior solutions architect covering financial services
based in New York and then London, and supported
NVIDIA work with the Square Kilometer Array radio astronomy programs.
Mr. Ashley holds a doctorate in computational sciences and informatics,
and both BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering. He holds a US
patent in predictive analytics.
Prabhu Ramamoorthy, CFA, FRM, CAIA, Customer/Partner Developer Relationship Manager, NVIDIA
Prabhu Ramamoorthy is the financial ecosystem partner manager at
NVIDIA, where he focuses on HPC/ML/AI acceleration for financial
services. Previously, he held leadership roles as the head of technology
of a margin software firm Dash Regtech, catering
to leading investment banks and broker-dealers and served in
leadership roles at Big Four firm KPMG/EY as a director in financial
services practice, where he helped 80+ financial institutions over the
last 10 years. Mr. Ramamoorthy holds an MBA from
the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an undergraduate engineering
degree from BITS-Pilani, one of the top engineering institutes in
India. He is a CFA charterholder, Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and
Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA),
specializing in financial use cases.
Don Hejna, CFA, CAIA, FDP, Managing Partner, Stantum, LLC
Don Hejna is the Managing Partner of Stantum, LLC, a registered
financial advisory firm. He specializes in quantitative analysis of
credit, loans, securities, and portfolio optimization. Mr. Hejna has
been a Managing Partner of Virentem Ventures, LLC,
a Silicon-Valley firm focused on Intellectual Property acquisitions,
strategy, market analysis, and turn-around opportunities for high tech
companies since 2010 and has also been employed on occasion by the
Stanford Graduate School of Business as
a Group Facilitator for the Interpersonal Dynamics Course and
Teaching Assistant for the High-Performance Leadership Course.
Previously, he was CEO of Enounce, Incorporated, a software technology
company in Palo Alto from 1989 through 2015 and has
worked at several high-tech companies and startups including: Sun
Microsystems, Qualcomm, Chronologic, Ambit Design Systems, Cadence, and
consulted for Cisco and NVIDIA. Mr. Hejna earned a Graduate Certificate
in Quantitative Methods in Finance and
Risk Management from Stanford University’s Financial Mathematics /
Statistics Department; a Master of Science degree in Management from
Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business as a Sloan Fellow; a
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(M.I.T.); and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from
M.I.T. He is a CFA charterholder, Chartered Alternative Investment
Analyst (CAIA), Chartered Financial Data Professional
(FDP) and Series 65 Licensed Investment Advisor Representative.
