Santiago Padua, CFA - President

Santiago Padua, CFA works as Corporate Finance Manager at Mercado Libre, the largest e-commerce company in Latin America.

Santiago is a professional with more than 12 years of experience in the financial industry. He worked in different positions within the private equity, real estate, M&A, equity research and corporate finance branches. His work experience includes having worked as COO at Draper Cygnus, a venture capital fund, Associate at Grupo Pegasus, one of the largest investment groups in Argentina, as well as Senior Consultant at EY and Senior Research Analyst at Crisil Global & Research Analytics.

Santiago has been a volunteer at CFA Society Argentina since 2011 where he served in different areas such as jobline, research challenge and prep courses. Throughout his years of volunteering, he was pleased to participate in different leadership conferences organized by the CFA Institute. Additionally, he has acted as a judge for the Americas regional final of the CFA Institute Research Challenge.

Santiago has a degree in Economics, graduated from the National University of Cuyo, and obtained the CFA designation in 2012.
Agustín Ortiz Fragola, CFA - Vicepresident 1°

Agustin Ortiz Fragola, CFA is currently the Head of the Sales & Trading Desk at BACS, Banco de Crédito y Securitización SA, an investment bank oriented to companies and large investors.

Agustin has more than 15 years working at the financial industry in Buenos Aires at prestigious institutions such as Banco de Servicios y Transacciones and Quinquela Asset Management, where he became a fixed income specialist, negotiating a variety of instruments in the secondary market and issuing debt for many of the largest companies in the country.

At CFA Society Argentina, Agustin volunteered in different areas and gained a deep knowledge of the challenges medium and - small societies face every day. Nowadays he is one of the main connections the board has with industry professionals. Before becoming Vice President, he served as Treasurer, PR Chair and Events Chair.

Cristian Brau, CFA - Vicepresident 2° 
Cristian Brau, CFA is the Head Portfolio Manager at SBS Asset Management. He has more than 10 years of experience in capital markets analyzing both equity and fixed income. Before joining Grupo SBS, he worked at Deloitte as a Senior Analyst of Transfer Pricing. 
 
At CFA Society Argentina, Cristian joined in 2015 helping with the Jobline. Now he is a Board Member in charge of Member and Candidate Services. Cristian obtained the CFA designation in 2012 after finishing a master’s degree in the UCEMA in 2009 and becoming an economist from the University of Buenos Aires in 2008. 


Sol Testa, CFA - Secretary


Sol Testa, CFA works as Investment Banking Vice President at KBR Group, a boutique-size international advisory firm, specialized in project finance, M&As, corporate finance and strategic advisory. 

Sol has more than 10 years of experience working at different financial positions, including investment banking, research, corporate finance, strategic consulting, asset management, private equity valuations, fixed income analysis, and controlling, in companies such as KBR Group, Explorador Capital Management, Cencosud and Arcos Dorados. 

Sol joined CFA Society Argentina as a volunteer in 2018 and has been in charge of the technology and digital communications ever since. Sol is also part of the CFA program prep courses professors.   

Felipe Lanari Zubiaur, CFA - Treasurer
Felipe Lanari Zubiaur, CFA is a consultant for HNW families in Argentina. He has been working in the wealth management industry for more than 12 years. In his early career he worked for UBS in Buenos Aires. 

Felipe received a Bachelor´s degree in economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina. He obtained the CFA designation in 2012 and is actively volunteering at CFA Society Argentina since 2017. Currently he serves on the Board as Treasurer. 

Sergio González, CFA - Director

Sergio González, CFA serves as Portfolio Manager at Criteria, a brokerage firm with presence in Argentina and Uruguay. Sergio is a professional with more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry. At his different jobs, he carried out tasks such as equity research, fixed income and corporate finance, portfolio management and programming of technological tools. His work experience includes having worked at Chevron, Exxon Mobil, Argentine Chamber of Mutual Funds and Criteria. 

He has been a volunteer at CFA Society Argentina since 2015 where he served in different areas such as Digital Communications, Research Challenge and University Relationship. Throughout his years of volunteering, he was pleased to participate in different leadership conferences organized by the CFA Institute. In 2019 he was chosen by his peers as volunteer of the year. 

Sergio is a Public Accountant. He graduated from the San Andrés University, and obtained the CFA designation in 2015. 

Fernando Bergé, CFA - Director

Fernando Bergé, CFA has been working for more than 20 years in the corporate finance and treasury departments of private companies in Argentina, such as Alpargatas, Perez Companc, Petrobras, Farmacity and Pecom Energia, where he is currently Finance Manager.

Fernando received a Bachelor´s degree in Economics (UCA) and he obtained the CFA designation in 2002, taking part that same year in the creation of CFA Society Argentina, and being a volunteer since then. Prior to his current role in Advocacy and Board Member, he has served as Treasurer, Prep Course coordinator and President of CFA Society Argentina.

Sebastián Salvay, CFA - Director
Sebastián Salvay, CFA is a Desk Analyst at TPCG Group covering Latin America Credits. He is in charge of Latam trading and also covers Argentina for Global Institutional Clients.

Sebastián has more than 13 years of experience in Emerging Markets with a High Yield focus. Before joining TPCG Group, he was a Director of Fixed Income Research & Investment Strategy at Bank of Singapore responsible for Latam and Philippine credits. Previously, he was a Senior Analyst at Debtwire covering Latam High Yield and Distressed bonds.

Sebastián holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from UADE, and a Master's Degree in Finance from San Andres University. At CFA Society Argentina, Sebastian is Chair of Statistics & Marketing Materials.
