Please join us on May 24th to hear Jim DeMasi discuss the outlook for the Fed and Fixed Income.

Jim DeMasi, CFA serves as Stifel's Chief Fixed Income Strategist from the company's Baltimore, MD office.  Jim provides bond market analysis, strategic insight, and portfolio management advice to a wide range of institutional investors, including depositories, insurance companies, money managers, and public funds.  He is the primary author of Stifel's Bond Market Weekly and Alpha Advisor publications.   A frequent speaker at investment seminars and conferences, Jim is quoted regularly in the Wall Street Journal and has made several appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg Television, and Fox Business News.    


Prior to joining Stifel in 2005, Jim worked as a fixed income strategist for Legg Mason for five years and as a capital markets specialist for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in Washington, DC for thirteen years.  His post-graduate education includes the Chartered Financial Analyst program, the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.  He received a bachelor's degree in finance from West Virginia University.  His professional affiliations include membership in the Baltimore Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute.​
