Title

Deconstructing Value Investing: Valuation vs Cheapness

Event Description

This talk explores valuation versus conventionally defined value investing, specifically addressing two questions:

• Does a valuation approach add incremental information to traditional “value” metrics (such as price to book, price to sales, price to earnings, or composites of such measures)?

• What is the explanatory ability of valuation and “value” metrics to explain future returns when adjusted for the correlation between them?
