CFA Institute Research Challenge 2025/2026 Local Finals, 24 February 2026, 16:00, Grand Hotel Sofia

On behalf of CFA Society Bulgaria, we are pleased to invite you to the Local Final and Award Ceremony of the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2025–2026, to be held in Sofia on 24 February 2026.

The CFA Institute Research Challenge is a prestigious global competition that offers university students a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world equity research. Throughout the competition, teams work closely with faculty advisors and industry mentors to produce a professional equity research report and defend their investment thesis before a panel of investment professionals.

This year, participating teams have conducted in-depth equity research on Speedy AD, the selected subject company. The Local Final will bring together the top-performing student teams representing leading Bulgarian universities, who will present their research findings and investment recommendations.

What to expect:

• Final presentations by student teams (10-minute presentation followed by 10-minute Q&A per team)
• Evaluation by a distinguished panel of investment professionals (judges to be announced)
• Award ceremony recognizing the achievements of all participants and announcing the winning team, which will advance to the Sub-Regional round
