Miroslav is a Partner and Investment Committee Member of 4 Gimel Investments SICAV, a.s.
He holds PhD in Economics from University of Economics in Prague. He studied economics at Staffordshire University in the UK and at University of Antwerp in Belgium. He completed the Executive Education Program on Value Investing at Columbia University, New York. Miroslav is an economist with long experience in international finance. He served 7 years at the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC, where he was appointed to the position of Alternate Executive Director for Central and Eastern Europe. In this capacity he was also an Alternate Member of the Pension Committee of the IMF's pension fund. Afterwards, he worked as an Economist at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg. Prior to IMF, he worked as Advisor to the Bank Board at Czech National Bank, as well as for the investment firm Central Europe Trust Ltd. and for Moody's rating agency.
Miroslav became a CFA Charterholder in 2012.
