Biographies:

Mr. Lemme is a Portfolio Manager for Cushing Asset Management and the MainStay Cushing Funds.
Mr. Lemme joined the firm as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager in 2012. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Highland Capital Management focused on investing throughout the capital structure of public and private energy companies. He also managed a team of analysts and portfolio managers who invested in the financials, basic materials, and consumer industries. Prior to moving to Highland in 2007, Mr. Lemme was an equity research analyst at UBS where he covered utilities, pipelines, and coal companies; a consultant with Deloitte Consulting; and an investment banking analyst with HSBC.
Mr. Lemme earned a B.S. in Management from Villanova University and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business.

Mr. Lemme has earned the right to use the CFA designation.

Benjamin H. Davis - Mr. Davis joined Energy Spectrum in 1997. He originates new investment opportunities for Energy Spectrum and its portfolio companies, evaluates potential investments, structures and closes investment transactions and serves on the Board of Directors of several Energy Spectrum portfolio companies. Prior to focusing on midstream private equity, Mr. Davis worked for ten years as an investment banker focused on the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry. Mr. Davis spent the first four years of his career as an organizational management consultant. Mr. Davis received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees and Investment Committee of Woodberry Forest School in Virginia and formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Petroleum Club.

David W. Hayes - Mr. Hayes joined NGP in 1998 and serves as Partner of the NGP funds. He concentrates on NGP’s transaction sourcing and execution as well as the monitoring of active portfolio companies. In addition, Mr. Hayes specializes in transaction support for NGP’s family of portfolio companies, assisting them in accessing the capital markets when external financing is required.  Previously, Mr. Hayes was an Associate with Charlesbank Capital Partners, LLC in the fall of 2000, where he focused on evaluating private equity investment opportunities in the energy and temporary staffing industries, and analyzing trends in the leveraged buyout sector. From 1996 to 1998, he was an Analyst with Merrill Lynch’s Energy Investment Banking group in Houston, focusing on merger and acquisition transactions in the exploration and production and pipeline industries.  Mr. Hayes received a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, in 1996 from Rice University, where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa scholastic honor society, and an M.B.A. in 2002 from Harvard Business School.

Mark Huhndorff - Mark Huhndorff is a Managing Director in the Dallas investment banking office of Raymond James & Associates, Inc. which he joined in 1997.  Raymond James is a publicly traded financial services firm with over $7.7 billion in annual revenues and a market capitalization of approximately $12 billion.  Mr. Huhndorff specializes in the energy industry, with a focus on the midstream sub-sector.  His deal experience includes mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, debt origination, and restructurings.  He has closed over 300 transactions, with an aggregate value of over $90 billion. In addition to his capital market experience, he has closed over 40 advisory and private placement transactions.   Previously, Mr. Huhndorff was a Process Specialist with Betz Laboratories, Inc., a Fortune 500 company.  He was responsible for business development and relationship management related to the sales and application of specialty chemicals for all refineries in the Los Angeles area.  Betz was eventually acquired by General Electric in 2002.  Prior to Betz, Mr. Huhndorff served four years as a commissioned officer in the Space Systems Division of the U.S. Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Captain.  He was the Chief Engineer for the Titan IV launch vehicle and supported Cape Canaveral launch operations for strategic military satellites used in the global support of US military initiatives, including Operation Desert Shield (August 1990 – January 1991) and Operation Desert Storm (January 1991 – February 1991).  Mr. Huhndorff received the Air Force Organizational Excellence Award, the National Defense Service Medal, the Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon, and the Air Force Training Ribbon.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan, and he earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School.

William J. Quinn - William J. Quinn is the founder and Managing Partner of Pearl Energy Investments. Prior to founding Pearl, Billy served as Managing Partner of Natural Gas Partners (NGP). In his capacity as Managing Partner, he co-managed NGP’s investment portfolio and played an active role in the full range of NGP’s investment process, from transaction sourcing through analysis, execution, and exit. Billy was also a key element in the firm’s business development activities given his extensive industry contacts in the U.S. and Canada.
Billy gained valuable investment experience working for Rainwater, Inc. and Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst, Inc. He also worked as an analyst in the investment banking divisions of Bear Stearns & Co. and BT Securities Corporation.  In addition to his investing activities, Billy serves as a guest lecturer on private equity investing at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also sits on the Wharton School Board of Overseers.  Billy received a B.S.E. in Finance, with honors, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
