This session will focus from investment strategy and products to ethics standards, top level retirement planning and how to best serve female clients, who may have a greater role in investment decision making. Michael McMillian from CFAI will present the CFA’s on Ethics and Professional standards, which will illustrate to the clients in attendance a fresh perspective to offset recent press on the financial services industry. Our next presenter will be Maura Sherer from Invesco Consulting. She will present and manage 30-45 minute workshops on the two additional client focused topics: Women and Investing – women control $12 trillion of $18.4 trillion in outlays and investment. The formally male dominated service model needs to adapt to include ALL clients. The New Retirement Landscape – the presentation highlights planning in light of changes to public and private sources of retirement income, as well as setting expectations for investment returns.
