Overview
CFA Society Edmonton is pleased to open applications for the first annual CFA Society Edmonton Case Competition on March 22, 2025. The competition starts at 8:00AM but teams will be asked to register closer to 7:30AM.
This case competition will test students’ business and financial acumen while providing an opportunity to network with local CFA Charterholders and industry professionals. Students will be challenged to solve a business problem and provide a strategic recommendation by applying skills they have learned in their business programs.
The selected case will be predominantly business strategy focused, but will have a light financial analysis/evaluation component; however, students from all faculties are encouraged to apply. An in-depth knowledge of capital markets and business analysis is not necessary to succeed in this competition.
