Trends in Healthcare Finance:
This presentation will explore the evolving forces on our healthcare system towards value-based care. This will include MD Anderson's presence and focus as a specialty care provider, the Texas Medical Center members' collaboration to expand medical research, and national healthcare trends resulting from patients, policy makers, employers and health plans.
Brad Gibson serves as the Vice President for Revenue Cycle and the Treasurer at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. His areas of responsibilities have included Cash Management, Investments, Debt Administration, Revenue Cycle operations, Managed Care Contracting, Payroll, Tax Compliance and several other key functions within Finance. Prior to his 15 years at MD Anderson, Brad worked for 10 years at The University of Texas System Administration offices in Austin and for 3 years in commercial lending. He earned his BBA at The University of Texas at Austin, his MBA at Texas State University and is a licensed CPA. Outside of work, you will often find Brad behind a shotgun competing in skeet and sporting clays events or afield with German Shorthair Pointers. Brad and his wife, Melissa, have two daughters.
