​Senior Financial Services analyst Michael Wong will discuss the recent emergence of robo-advising and provide insights as to what it means for private wealth advisors.

Bio:
Michael Wong, CFA, CPA is a Senior Financial Services at Morningstar Institutional Research in Chicago.   Mr. Wong has received significant attention from investors and the media for his work on the private wealth industry, and has written extensively on the impact of robo-advisors and the DOL's recent fiduciary rule.   He has made numerous appearances on CNBC and also been quoted widely in the financial press on these topics.

Michael has been at Morningstar since 2008 – prior to that role he was an accountant at KPMG.   He is a graduate of both Peking University and San Francisco State University.
