Junk Play, Lessons Learned & Today's Parallels

Event Description

Join us for an evening at The Rep!

The evening will include tickets to the play Junk along with a reception featuring a talk with Bladen Burns, CFA, titled Junk Play, Lessons Learned & Today's Parallels.

Milwaukee's own Pulitzer Prize-winner Ayad Akhtar returns to The Rep with his epic new play, Junk. Inspired by the real junk bond kings of the 1980's, it's a battleground of titanic egos where magnates are pitted against workers, lawyers against journalists and everyone against themselves.  With Junk, debt is an asset, and we see from the inside how money became the only thing that mattered.

Prior to the play Bladen Burns with Fiduciary Management and a board member at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater will share a few words about Junk and the parallels to the investment environment today. To view Mr. Burns bio – click here
