2nd Annual Outlook Dinner

Event Description

CFA Society Milwaukee is proud to announce our 2nd Annual  Outlook Dinner with David Villa, CFA as he presents on Navigating the WRS Through a Changing Global Economy - For the public employees of Wisconsin, the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB) is a unique asset and a valuable partner. Investing for the financial security of more than 632,000 individuals who look to the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) to help provide for their retirement, SWIB brings a disciplined, prudent, and innovative approach to market opportunities. SWIB Executive Director/Chief Investment Officer David Villa will explain how SWIB’s investment strategy and cost optimization efforts are helping navigate the ever-changing, and at times turbulent, financial markets to grow and protect the assets of the WRS. David will discuss how SWIB’s investment management initiatives are helping protect and grow the assets of the trust funds while helping keep the WRS among the only fully funded public pensions in the country and positioned for future success.
