Marquette University Advanced to the Americas Regional Finals
The Americas Regional competition was held on March 19-20.  In a highly competitive, high pressure environment, the team presented well and showed their comprehensive understanding of their subject company.  Even though Marquette did not advance to the Global Finals they did an excellent job and should be exceptionally proud of the hard work they put in.

Comments from the Team's Advisor Dr. David Krause
To say the least, I am very proud of the students who participated in this year's CFA Challenge. Both teams from Marquette - and all of the other schools - worked extremely hard and I was delighted with their work quality. The experience and the friendships they established will stay with them throughout their careers. I can't say enough good things about the CFA Challenge - it is truly one of the best experiential programs in academia. I have watched the Challenge grow over the years and it gets better each year. We are pleased to be a part of the CFA Challenge and look forward to competing in Boston next month.

It is opportunities like the CFA Research Challenge that students will remember long after their college days are over.  I am very appreciative of CFA Institute putting on the annual competition that offers students from across the world a chance to network with professionals in the investment community and to learn about the CFA program.  It is truly a life changing event.
