Jessica Murray, CFA is part of the portfolio management team for the Thrivent Small Cap Core mutual fund. She has been with Thrivent Financial for 7 years leading quantitative analytics efforts driving high performance for large cap value and small mid cap funds and served for 10 years as the treasurer of CFA Society Minnesota.
Prior to joining Thrivent, Jessica worked at FactSet Research Systems and as a quantitative analyst for U.S. Bancorp Asset Management (now FAF Advisors). She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond in 1998 and her CFA charter in 2002. In her free time, Jessica enjoys participating in community service efforts, traveling, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Thomas Crandall, CFA, CAIA is a Senior Quantitative Analyst and a member of the Global Asset Allocation Committee at Ameriprise Financial where he focuses on developing and managing Asset Allocation strategies for Ameriprise's 10,000 advisors. Prior to Ameriprise Tom worked as a Research Manager at Orgel Wealth Management and a Portfolio Manager and Director at Quantitative Advantage.
Tom obtained an MBA and BBA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Tom is a member of the CFA Institute and a board member of the CFA Society of Minnesota. He has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations and is pursuing the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation.
Patrick Persons is a Quantitative Analyst with Parametric Portfolio Associates, where he focuses on providing research and support to clients, consultants, and prospects. As part of his responsibilities, he leads a team of analysts responsible for model development and research. Prior to Parametric, Patrick worked at Ameriprise Financial with the Capital Markets Solutions group as a Financial Engineer, as well as at Leuthold Weeden Capital Management.
Patrick obtained his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of St. Thomas, and his M.S. in Financial Mathematics from the University of Minnesota. Patrick is currently a CFA Exam Level II Candidate and Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at the University of St. Thomas.
