Vast troves of digital information offer a new frontier for portfolio managers. It’s said that 90% of all existing data has been created in the last two years. As people migrate online and become inseparable from their cell phones, their browsing activity and movements, along with satellite data, are being measured and analyzed, offering valuable insights to businesses, and—increasingly— to portfolio managers.
Key learning takeaways from the session are:
- Learn how Big Data is changing the fundamental investment landscape
- The surprising areas, such as energy and health care, where big data is becoming increasingly relevant
- How data can help managers make better decisions, and potentially enhance their ability to generate performance for clients over the long-term.
