CFA Society VBA Netherlands and Invesco collaberate to bring you:
Consequences for asset allocation?
Increasing market volatility and expected higher divergence between asset class returns will obviously have a fundamental impact on asset allocation decisions going forward. We have therefore asked two leading asset allocation specialists to discuss the increasing volatility in the market and the consequences for the various asset classes during these two breakfast sessions.
Central subject: are we going from Risk On to Risk Off?
The breakfast session will start with the presentation of the outcome of an extensive asset allocation poll conducted by Alpha Research. Based on more than 50 asset allocation reports, the consensus view on asset allocation visions will be presented.
Subsequent to the Asset Allocation Poll, Invesco and Constance Everson of Capital Markets Outlook Group will present their view focusing on the impact of central bank policies, political risks and fundamental economic drivers.
After the asset allocation poll and the two presentations, a short debate will take place, during which the conversation will primarily center around deviations from the consensus vision and the fundamental reasoning behind these deviations.
