Jacco Heemskerk, CFA: President
Jacco joined the board of CFA Netherlands in 2012. He started his career as management trainee at ABN AMRO and held various positions in the Dutch domestic division between 2005 and 2008, including a role as junior investment manager for the Bank’s private equity department for small & medium sized enterprises and a role as project manager in the introduction of a suite of pension products. In 1998, he joined ABN AMRO’s Corporate & Investment banking division and held positions as relationship banker Global Clients, sector banker Healthcare, and within Capital Structuring & Advisory for Energy & Natural Resources.
Following the successful consortium bid for ABN AMRO in 2008, Jacco became the Head of Energy & Natural Resources for RBS Netherlands and worked as a Senior Relationship banker until 2010 when he became the Managing Director of the Stichting Pensioenfonds RBS Nederland. Jacco is also Chairman of the Works Council for RBS in the Netherlands and Supervisory Board member of the regional development company omU (NV Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij Utrecht).
Jacco graduated from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and holds a Master degree in Economics and since 2006 the CFA designation.
Jeroen Bos, CFA, CAIA: Vice President/Secretary
Jeroen is a member of the Global Investment Leadership Team (GILT) at NN Investment Partners and Head of the Investment Boutique that is responsible for NN IP's Equity Assets that include Responsible & Impact Investing, Core Equity, Thematic Equity, Real Estate and Sector products. Furthermore, Jeroen has oversights on NN IP’s Value Equity and Emerging Markets Equity strategies. Prior roles at NN IP included Head of Global Equity Research, Portfolio Manager of several Global Equity portfolio's and Buy-side analyst for the Industrials sector.
In the late 90s, Jeroen started his career at MeesPierson as a sell-side analyst in the Technology Team. In 2004 he joined JPMorgan in London focused on covering European Semiconductor companies and he moved to UBS in New York a few years later to cover the US Semiconductor sector.
Jeroen holds a Master Degree in Economics from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. During his time at the Vrije Universiteit he was also part of the Amsterdam Mutual Fund (Asset Manager run by students), both as a board member and as an analyst. Lastly, Jeroen holds the CFA (since 2003), CMA (2010), CAIA (2013) and CPE (2015) designations.
Alex Morozov, CFA: Treasurer
Alex is Director of European equity research for Morningstar. He leads a team of equity analysts based in Europe who cover European and global companies across all major sectors of the economy. Before assuming his current role in 2014, Morozov was head of global healthcare equity research. Previously, he was a senior equity analyst, covering the medical instruments, life sciences, and diagnostics industries. Before joining Morningstar in 2006, Morozov worked in the insurance industry. Morozov holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, with a minor in mathematics, from the University of Missouri. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation."
Rani Piputri, CFA, CAIA: Membership Chair
Rani is a portfolio manager at Saemor Capital, a quantitative investment management company. She managers Saemor's propriety multifactor stock selection model and conducts research, analytics and testing of strategies and their potential enhancements. She also covers the consumer and health care sectors. Prior to joining Saemor, she was a quantitative analyst responsible for the quantitative processes for equity investments at AEGON Asset Management. This followed a three year career as an investment consultant at ORTEC. Rani Piputri holds an MSc degree in Financial Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is registered with the Dutch Securities Institute (DSI).
Sjoerd Rozing, CFA: Education Chair
Sjoerd is an Analyst at Teslin Capital Management. He helps to manage approximately € 400 million of investments in Dutch equities. In addition to this, he writes proposals for new investments, develops and maintains valuation models and he is responsible for performance reporting of Teslin's funds. Sjoerd is CFA Charterholder.
Pieter van Putten, CFA: Advocacy Chair
Pieter van Putten (1963) holds 2 MBA degrees from Nijenrode University in the Netherlands and University of Florida in the US, and is a Fulbright scholar. He started working in the asset management industry in 1989 when he joined the institutional fund management division of Commerzbank in Frankfurt. In 1993 Pieter moved to Hong Kong, and later to Singapore, to build up Commerzbank's asset management operations in Asia. In 2002 he became CEO of Morley Fund Management (Singapore), and from 2003 to 2008 he was managing director of Singapore based APS Asset Management, a boutique focusing on Asian and mainland Chinese equity management. From 2009 to 2012 Pieter was director in APAC Asset Management, an Australian mining specialist boutique which he helped to establish. Pieter now runs his own consultancy firm, and carries out asset management related projects in the field of operations, product development, business development and strategic review. Pieter is a CFA Charterholder since 1998.
Joost Calje, CFA: Careers Chair
Joost is a Director at Lucas Pearce Consulting, a financial services consultancy, having previously spent over ten years in financial markets sales at three London-based investment banks. He studied International Financial Economics at the University of Amsterdam and is a CFA charter holder since 2007. Joost has been volunteering for the CFA Society Netherlands since March 2014.
Cees Harm van den Berg, CFA: Events Chair
Cees Harm joined the board in October 2016
after volunteering for several years
and is responsible for events
. Besides his activities for CFA, Cees Harm works as an investment consultant at Willis Towers Watson. In that role he advises institutional clients on their investment policy. He supports several Dutch based institutional clients as an external advisor.
is also involved in modeling and analyzing hedging strategies for pension funds, researching the impact of regulations and advising clients on structured products. Cees Harm is
of the Asset Research Team, the Eurozone Advisory Portfolio Group and co-head of the Dutch Research team.
Master of Finance at Tilburg University in 2007,
decided to combine traveling and studying in Australia and enrolled in a Master Economics at
acquarie University. He completed his Master with the
Vice Chancellor’s Commendation for Academic Excellence in 2008
, but decided to return to The Netherlands. He started at All Options as
equity derivatives trader. In 2010 Cees Harm

as an investment consultant
. In June 2013 he
successfully completed the CFA® program and
now proudly holds his CFA® designation.
Terri Thompson, MBA: Staffed Office/Board Assistant
Terri Thompson, MBA, joined the CFA Society of the Netherlands in 2011 to assist the Society with implementing strategic initiatives, establishing a staffed office and organising events. Previously Terri performed similar activities for the European Leadership Platform in Amsterdam. Terri started her career working for Citicorp/Citibank in Zurich and London, and after receiving her MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management worked for ING Bank in their Corporate Development department in both Amsterdam and Singapore.
Jennifer McKinley: Staffed Office Executive
Jennifer McKinley joined CFA Society Netherlands in October 2013 to manage the Society's communication activities, including media outreach and social media, as well as assist with volunteer management and events. Jennifer is from the U.S. and has lived in Tokyo, London, and Dubai. A large part of her career was spent in New York in Equity Capital Markets at ABN AMRO.
