The CFA program is promoted in universities and their finance student associations. We try to be in classrooms on a regular basis to offer CFA Program presentations, ethics training and guest lectures. We also organize two competitions for students: the CFA Research Challenge and the Quant Awards.
CFA Society VBA Netherlands and CFA Institute partner with four local universities who offer parts of the CFA Program in their curriculum: Rotterdam School of Management, Tilburg University, University of Amsterdam and Utrecht University. Learn more about the CFA University Partner program here.
Many students with an interest in investing join an investment study association. Therefore, we have started developing connections with these associations and presenting ourselves at their meetings and events. We have visited study associations in Amsterdam, Maastricht, Rotterdam, Tilburg and Groningen. We are also present with a booth at the annual investment symposium of B&R Beurs (Rotterdam) which welcomes over 500 guests.
The CFA Institute Research Challenge offers students the unique opportunity to learn from leading industry experts and compete with peers from the world's top finance programs. This annual educational initiative promotes best practices in equity research among the next generation of analysts through hands-on mentoring and intensive training in company analysis and presentation skills.
