Why volunteer for a committee?
Through committee activities, members have an opportunity to contribute their ideas, talent, and organizational skills to the common of goals of the committee and CFA Society New Zealand. Our Committees provide a forum for members to develop professional relationships while building their knowledge. Committee work puts you in contact with other investment professionals. It is a great way to gain additional expertise in new areas or gather new ideas in your current area and to enhance leadership abilities.
What is involved in being a CFA Society or committee volunteer?
Activities vary by committee, but may include planning presentations on topics pertaining to the committee's area of interest, disseminating information on a particular topic, or building relationships with specific groups in the investment community.
