 BI Norwegian Business School - Global Research Challenge Finalists 2018

The 12th Global Research Challenge Final was held in Kuala Lumpur on 27th April 2018.

CFA Society Norway are extremely proud BI Norwegian Business School for competing in the Global Research Challenge Final.

Remarkably strong contenders, competing against 1050 universities globally for one of the five finalist places:

  1. BI Norwegian Business School (Norway)
  2. Jacksonville University (USA)
  3. Sunway University (Malaysia)
  4. University of Minnesota (USA)
  5. University of Lausanne (Switzerland)

After an intense and close presentation round, followed by Q&A sessions from three industry judges, the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) were announced Global Winners.

BI Norwegian Business School were a dedicated team, living up to their alumni, who previously won the 2017 EMEA Regional Final. These highly talented students have a promising career ahead in the investment profession.

 BI Norwegian Business School - Winners of the EMEA Regional Research Challenge Final​ 2018!

 

We are very pleased to announce that BI Norwegian Business School was one of the two winning student teams of the EMEA Regional Final in Dublin. Congratulations to BI Norwegian Business School and  University of Lausanne (representing CFA Society Switzerland).

 Research Challenge 2018 - Norway

 

​Four student teams paricipated in the local Research Challenge 2018 on 8 March 2018; CBS, NHH, BI and Nord University.

 The competition is tough! In addition to their Univesity commitments, participants were required to adhere to a demanding timeline:

We kicked-off the challenge on 6 December 2017. with a telco with this year's subject company Tomra Systems ASA and VP IR Elisabet Sandnes.

Follow up meetings were held with Tomra Systems on 23rd January 2018

Written reports submitted by 23rd February 2018

Team Presentations and panel discussions held in Oslo on 8th March 2018 - with BI Norwegian Business School announced as winners!
