 BI Norwegian Business School Named Winner of Local CFA Institute Research Challenge 2022

Rc 2022 - BI team. jpgBI Norwegian Business School team has won the local round of the 2022 CFA Institute Research Challenge and will advance to the Regional final, where they will face other universities from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Winning team members, including Alf Kristian Pettersen, Kristine Alm Karsrud, Indre Zilinske, and David Hammerstad, presented their analysis and buy recommendation on Nordic Semiconductor to a panel of distinguished judges from the investment community, including Isabelle Juillard Thompsen, Andreas Bertheussen and Erlend Fredriksen, all from DNB Asset Management.

Rc 2022 -Team BI.jpgNordic Semiconductor is a highly relevant and interesting research case as it operates in an industry which contributes to developing new innovative solutions for a more digitalized society, says the team of students representing BI Norwegian Business School in the CFA Research Challenge 2022. 

The team is currently preparing their written equity research on Nordic Semiconductor, which they will present to a panel of judges in the local final of the prestigious competition on 2 March at DNB's headquarter in Oslo.


 Preparing for its debut in CFA Institute Research Challenge

RC 22 team Aalborg.jpgA dedicated team of finance students from University of Aalborg is preparing to put their skills at test in the school's first appearance in the global CFA Institute research challenge. 

The participants are judged on their ability to write a research report and value Nordic Semiconductor, which is this year's research case, as well a presentation of their analysis and recommendation to a panel of practicing professionals.

 Students to analyse Nordic Semiconductor in Research Challenge 2022
