 Overview

Having jumped 70% in a year to reach US$ 50,000, prices of Bitcoin have started to make headlines. Cryptocurrency markets are rallying toward new all-time highs, and many of the world's largest investors and financial institutions are getting involved. At the same time, after an initial rejection by most jurisdictions, several jurisdictions over the period have become more receptive to the currency and are now on the radar of several institutional and retail investors.

The global crypto asset management market is expected to reach US$1.1 billion by the end of 2025, while the global blockchain market is expected to climb to US$ 39 billion by then. Pakistan has also started to explore the potential of this technology, with a positive response in attracting remittances from Malaysia in 2020.

Leading international experts will give insights on what is driving cryptocurrencies, how global institutional investors view this as an investment opportunity, and also explain the perspective of local regulators.
