 Our Focus

Mission Statement

To positively influence market integrity, ethical standards, and professional excellence within the local financial community by serving members, assisting candidates, creating awareness of the CFA Program, and conducting outreach activities to universities, employers, and regulators.

Vision Statement

We envision a CFA Society Pakistan that is instrumental in strengthening the integrity, reputation, and advancement of professionalism within the local financial community.

 Our Strategy

After in-depth deliberations, the Board of Directors has outlined their strategic focus for their three year term 2016-2018. The thrust of this term is to increase advocacy activities to a level where the regulators and industry players alike recognize CFA Society Pakistan's member body as an active, professional, competent and insightful player in the development of capital markets of Pakistan and serving the goals of enhancing investor education and protection.

Likewise, we would like to see CFA curriculum incorporated in the Finance courses of leading business schools, with emphasis on Ethics curriculum to ensure the integrity of our future professionals, and recognition of the value of CFA certification by examination bodies.

We strongly believe that this is how we create value for ourselves, by actively demonstrating that having CFA certification is 'A Difference that Matters'. We want to lead the investment profession locally and globally by setting the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence for the ultimate benefit of society. This is also how we intend to position ourselves in the minds of our employers as the success of an organization depends upon the quality of people leading that organization.
