Title

Suburban Special Event:  The Art and Science of Manager Selection

Event Description

Two New Panelists Added!

Thursday June 6
3:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Philadelphia Country Club
1601 Spring Mill Road
Gladwyne, PA

Building the portfolio most likely to achieve your financial goals requires getting two things correct:  identify the right assets, and implement that asset allocation in the right way. For many investors, implementing an asset allocation strategy involves hiring professional managers, either through a separate account or a fund, to build and maintain the various asset class portfolios. Most asset managers are familiar with the attributes that make an investment attractive:  high earnings growth potential, strong returns and cheap valuation.  The process of manager selection, however, is often misunderstood.

Like science, manager selection should be formal, structured and repeatable to create comparative data points across institutions and asset managers. Like art, the selection process must also ensure that objective findings are integrated in a creative way.

Join us for an afternoon presentation at Philadelphia Country Club, featuring experts in the area of investment manager due diligence and selection.  The event will have two consecutive discussions:  one panel focused on the "art" of traditional manager selection, the other concentrating on the modern quantitative and technical aspects of the process.

We are pleased to announce the following panelists:
