Event Description |
People in finance often observe that " alternative" investments - so called because of the niche role they once played for investors - need a new name.
Over the past twenty-five years, alternatives have evolved from
a small part of the portfolios of the world's largest investors into a
core holding. Alternative investments - which include non-traditional
asset classes such as private equity, private credit, real estate,
infrastructure and more - represented just 5 percent of global pension
portfolios in 1996. In 2020, they accounted for more than 25 percent. Join
us for a lively panel discussion on the future state of alternative
investing post-Covid. Panelists will offer their perspectives on the
current state of alternative investment strategies during, and after,
the pandemic.
