This month we will feature a discussion on how asset owners and money management organizations create and adopt investment policies that address the environmental and social issues that we face today.
Our speakers will share with us their insights on identifying and acquiring the necessary data in making ESG investment policy decisions.
To lead this discussion, we are happy to welcome Emily Lawrence, the Director of Sustainable Investing at one of the largest banking institutions in the United States, Northern Trust Asset Management, and Hugh Brown, the Director of Investor Engagement at Ceres Inc. Ceres is a sustainability, non-profit organization that works with many of the largest and influential investors and companies to address the world's biggest sustainability challenges, including climate change, water scarcity and pollution, inequitable workplaces and outdated capital market systems.
This session will be moderated by Kenn Lamson, CFA, Head of Nonprofit Relationship Management at Vanguard and a CFAP board member. Following a presentation by Hugh, Kenn, Emily and Hugh will engage in a wide-ranging discussion and open up for questions and answers from attendees.
