Monday April 26
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Join us for a lively discussion
about what it takes to successfully navigate from a first generation
college student into a financial services career. As the saying goes:
“It takes a village”. In the case of financial services, it takes
mentors, professional connections and corporate support to develop the
talent needed to drive diversity.
Members of the CFAP "village"
will lead the dialogue and provide real-world examples of how students
are choosing the financial services career path. We will talk about the
challenges facing young people starting out along the journey.
CFAP board member Amy Bartosh, CFA will moderate the program. She will talk with a first generation student from Rutgers Camden (Erika Acevedo), a professor (Ralph Giraud), a career counselor (Natalie Cox), a diversity-minded HR professional (Amy Schlesinger), and a member of the CFAP Inve$t in her Future community (Beth Stone, CFA).
CFAP members, non-members, faculty and students are all invited to attend free of charge.
We look forward to your participation in this engaging and informative presentation.
