The Programs Committee delivers all of our regular programs such as the monthly Luncheon events, the annual Forecast Dinner and periodic Social Events.
Governance Committee ensures that the board of directors governs the organization effectively through the creation of governance policies and procedures; recruiting and nominating suitable board members; providing orientation and training programs for board members, and evaluating the performance of individual members and the board as a whole.
Education Committee provides Professional Development services for members plus CFA examination guidance for candidates. professional Development in initiatives include member to member events and awareness / encouragement for the CFA Institute’s voluntary Continuing Education Program and its emphasis on lifetime learning. CFA Candidate services includes Review Classes and conducting mock examinations.
Membership Committee is responsible for creating and maintaining member value for the Society. It sponsors new members and encourages interested members to serve as volunteers.
Marketing and Communications Committee delivers the quarterly newsletter, manages the website and maintains the Society’s public awareness.
Professional Development Committee delivers Career Development programming plus maintains the job posting link on the website.
Outreach Committee develops and maintains relationships with Employers (CFA awareness), Universities (Global Research Challenge and CFA awareness). High Schools (financial literacy) and CFA Institute & Local Societies (share ideas).
- The Women's Advisory Committee leads and maintains a community among financial industry women professionals in the Philadelphia region by promoting the highest standard of ethics, education and professional excellence for the benefit of CFAP members and society.
