Shareholder Advocacy - Aligning your Clients' Values with their Investments
Founded in 1992, Bay Area non-profit As You Sow directly engages corporate CEOs, senior management, and institutional investors to change corporations from the inside out. Their mission is to promote environmental and social corporate responsibility through shareholder advocacy, coalition building, and innovative legal strategies. As shareholder advocates, As You Sow works directly with investors and their advisors.
Natalie Weidemier, CFA, JD, from Baker Street Advisors will lead a discussion with As You Sow's CEO, Andrew Behar, during which he will share ideas on how you might engage your clients in values oriented discussions to align their values with their investments.
