A Career Development Sponsored Event

Part 3 of 3 in our Coaching Yourself to Success During Volatile Times: A Three-Part Series.

In our third and final session, we will identify actionable ways for you to surf the inevitable ups and downs of your journey toward achieving holistic success. Getting to where you want to go isn't easy. The destination sometimes changes with material new information, and there will be inevitable setbacks. In this part, we will discuss the process of coaching yourself to get unstuck so you can sustain your upward trajectory. At the end of this session you will take away:
  • The patterns that prevent us from reaching our most desired goals
  • The mindset shifts needed to go from preventing us from achieving our goals to promoting our ability to achieving our goals
  • The 5 steps to coaching yourself through any situation
  • How you can help others practice the same process to create collective success

After these 3 sessions, you will have not only the mindset to thrive through change, but you will develop the skills needed to do so sustainably.

Description
Michael A. Gayed authored five award-winning white papers on stock market anomalies from 2014 to 2020, one of which is the 2015 Founders Award study titled "Lumber: Worth Its Weight in Gold Offense and Defense in Active Portfolio Management." His paper documents how Lumber and Gold can be used as signals for managing investment portfolios. This eye-opening research focuses on the predictive power of two seemingly unrelated commodities which provide important information on the economic cycle, and risk-seeking behavior in various assets. His work has important implications for both asset allocators and active managers.

Biography
Michael A. Gayed is Portfolio Manager at Toroso Investments, an investment management company specializing in ETF focused research, investment strategies and services designed for financial advisors, RIAs, family offices and investment managers.

He is the author of five award-winning research papers on market anomalies and investing. Michael was an active contributor to MarketWatch for a number of years and has been interviewed on CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business, as well as the Wall Street Journal Live for his unique approach to interpreting market movements.
