Please join us for the next Collaborative WIM Original special
quarterly interactive event, hosted by CFA Society Los Angeles. Come
prepared to network in breakout sessions with your peers and enjoy an
interactive workshop tailored to our industry.
Collaborative WIM is modeled after the CFA Institute Women In Investment
Management (WIM) Initiative. CFA Societies and FPA chapters around the
world have joined efforts to further our shared goals of inclusion and
diversity in capitalism. The partnership currently comprises
70 societies across the US, Canada, Caribbean, EMEA and LatAm,
representing approaching 60,000 finance professionals and approximately
40% of the global CFA Society network. If you want to keep up to date
with the goings on in this group, consider joining the LinkedIn Group Collaborative WIM Initiative.
We want to create innovative solutions to our most suffocating
struggles, but in order for that to happen, our brains can’t be stuck in
survival mode. Feeling stressed and afraid is an arousal state and an
over stimulated brain needs systems to get back our sense of wonder and
curiosity. When we give our brains a framework to attach to, we feel
more in control and ready to move forward, instead of feeling frozen in
place. Join biopsychologist Mary Poffenroth as she shares her favorite
evidence based frameworks to help you move through everyday fear and
build a future full of promising ideas and surprising solutions.
