Prakash Raman | Prakash
coaches CEOs and executives at leading companies (e.g. LinkedIn,
Discord, ServiceNow). He focuses on helping his clients continue to
strive for exceptional results, while also learning to be content in the
now. His influences range from mentors like Marshall Goldsmith (World’s
#1 Exec Coach and Bestselling Author) and Fred Kofman (CEO coach and
Leadership advisor at tech firms such as LinkedIn and Google), to
current research on high performance (e.g. Carol Dweck's Mindset) to
timeless wisdom of ancient texts (e.g. Vedanta). He shares his learnings
on performance & mindfulness at a range of places, including

Gayed authored five award-winning white papers on stock market anomalies from 2014 to 2020, one of which is the 2015 Founders Award study titled "Lumber: Worth Its Weight in Gold Offense and Defense in Active Portfolio Management." His paper documents how Lumber and Gold can be used as signals for managing investment portfolios. This eye-opening research focuses on the predictive power of two seemingly unrelated commodities which provide important information on the economic cycle, and risk-seeking behavior in various assets. His work has important implications for both asset allocators and active managers. Biography Michael A. Gayed is Portfolio Manager at Toroso Investments, an investment management company specializing in ETF focused research, investment strategies and services designed for financial advisors, RIAs, family offices and investment managers. Prior to Toroso Investments, Michael was the Co-Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Strategist at Pension Partners, LLC, an investment advisor managing mutual funds and separate accounts. He is the author of five award-winning research papers on market anomalies and investing. Michael was an active contributor to MarketWatch for a number of years and has been interviewed on CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business, as well as the Wall Street Journal Live for his unique approach to interpreting market movements. Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Finance & Management at NYU Stern School of Business. Michael became a CFA Charterholder in 2008.
