Join us for our September meeting when Ronald Florance speaks to us about Private Wealth Management. Mr. Florance is a senior vice president and director of asset allocation and strategy with Wells Fargo. Mr. Florance rejoined Wells Fargo in 2005, where his responsibilities include providing comprehensive strategic asset allocation, financial planning and investment management solutions for affluent and high-net-worth individuals and families. Mr. Florance has more than 20 years experience in financial services, with 15 of them in investment management.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo Private Client Services, Mr. Florance was responsible for asset allocation strategy for Bank of America and he served as a senior portfolio manager at City National Investments. In his earlier career at Wells Fargo, Mr. Florance worked for Wells Fargo/Nikko Investment advisors, and was lead portfolio manager in the strategic wealth group, after managing the quantitative equity strategies at First Interstate. Ron started his career in financial services at Wilshire Associates and as the director of index management at The Vanguard Group. Mr. Florance received his Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University. Mr. Florance was awarded a Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 1995, and is a member of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
