Mr. Bret Rosen, PIMCO Vice President, will discuss the evolution of emerging markets debt and the ongoing maturation of the asset class. This will be a PD credit event. Mr. Rosen will speak about the continued improvement of credit fundamentals and financial conditions in emerging economies. He will also address trends in the asset class such as the expanding market for local currency denominated debt instruments.
Mr. Rosen is a Vice President and Product Manager for PIMCO's Emerging Markets and Diversified Income businesses. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, he spent three years at Trust Company of the West, as a sovereign analyst responsible for coverage of Latin American economies and financial markets. Previously, Mr. Rosen spent four years at Goldman Sachs, in both Latin America equity research and international equities trading, and was a short-term consultant with the International Finance Corporation in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Rosen received a bachelor's degree from University of California, Berkeley, an MSc from London School of Economics, and an MBA from the Anderson School at the University of California, Los Angeles.
