Live, Online Training from the comfort of your home or office

Financial companies have been moving to manage the tide of available information with innovative, disruptive technologies that can make use of this data to solve some of the industry’s toughest problems.

In partnership with the CFA Society of South Florida and CFA Society San Francisco, Cognitir plans to deliver live and virtual training during August of 2019 to provide finance professionals with a structured teaching environment where attendees can learn the classic data science methods. Cognitir regularly trains in partnership with some of the largest CFA societies globally on the basics of fintech and data science. Over the course of the past 3 years, Cognitir has trained over 3,000 students and professionals around the world, including students at leading MBA programs such as MIT Sloan and Chicago Booth.

In these live and completely interactive courses, attendees will first be able to learn the absolute basics of the Python programming language (Intro to Python course) and then have the option to apply these skills to essential data sciencetechniques (Intro to Data Science course) to solve complex finance problems. Specific areas include: sentiment analysis, advanced time series analysis, risk management, real-time pricing and economic data analysis, customer segmentation analysis, and machine learning algorithm creation for financial technologies.

Attendees may use a PC or Mac to access slides and other resources we provide for the class.
