CFA Society South Florida is bringing you a panel of experts to discuss career development strategies. Our panel contains recognized experts in the areas of job search, career coaching, and human resource development.

Directions: Exit I-95 at Glades (Exit 45) / (Exit 75) from the Turnpike. Head EAST on Glades to10th/Broward Ave (the first and main entrance to FAU). Turn left into Campus on to Broward Ave/West University Drive. Continue through two traffic lights. The road will then curve right and become North University Drive. Make the first RIGHT, after the road curves, into the parking lots adjacent to the College of Business.

Rob is also the author of two books, Your Social Media Job Search and PEAK Presentations. Rob’s career and job-search insights have appeared in The New York Times, Forbes, The Washington Post, Money Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, NBC News, ABC News and more. His background includes an MBA in Finance from Fordham University and over 15 years in management roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, JP Morgan Chase, and American Express. He currently serves on the Board of the Association for Talent Development (New York City Chapter).

Melissa Masterson-Kellenberger, Portfolio Manager, Castle Wealth Management
Melissa Masterson-Kellenberger is a portfolio manager with Castle Wealth Management as well as an active member of CFA Society of South Florida. Prior to relocating to the Palm Beaches, Melissa provided advisory consultation services in Charlotte where she held the position of Outlook Chair with CFA Society of North Carolina (2018-2019). Professional focus areas include portfolio management strategies, advisory consultation services, as well as integrating technology to improve outcomes and enhance the client experience. Melissa considers herself a lifelong learner and believes that staying current on broader Industry trends is essential for long-term success in a rapidly changing landscape. Liang Zhong, CFA, CPA, CGMA, Principal Business Analyst, FPL PGD Division, NextEra Energy
Liang Zhong is a Principal Business Capital Analyst for FPL Power Generation Division at NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NEE). She is responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and coordinating of the executions of capital projects for the Florida Power and Light Power Generation division, which includes over thirty fossil operating units at eleven plant sites and fourteen solar sites.
Liang Zhong joined NextEra Energy in December 2015 as a senior financial analyst for HR finance. While in HR, she budgets, forecasts and calculates medical and dental expenses, provides in-depth medical and Rx claims data analysis for healthcare strategy redesign. She also worked as a principal financial analyst in FP&A focusing on various business units’ financial reporting, and developing creative tools to automate reporting and analyzing data.
Liang Zhong has more than 10 years of corporate accounting and finance experience in multiple industries. Prior to NEE,
she had worked as a general buyer and commodity analyst in IBM China Supply Chain, and an accountant and financial
analyst in Office Depot, TBC and BankRate.
Liang Zhong has a Master in Accounting degree from the FAU and a Bachelor of accounting degree from Wuhan University, one of the top ten universities in China. She is a CPA and a CFA Charterholder. She obtained the Six Sigma green belt certificate by developing and implementing a consolidated reporting tool across over 30 departments in NextEra Energy.
