Speaker Bios

Daniel Phillips, CFA

Daniel J. Phillips is the director of asset allocation strategy for Northern Trust Asset Management. Daniel is a member of the Investment Policy Committee and portfolio manager for Northern Trust's Global Tactical Asset Allocation Fund. He is responsible for overseeing the firm's asset allocation process and communicating those strategies with our clients. These responsibilities include participation on the capital market assumptions working group [FS(1] that produces Northern Trust's Five-Year Capital Market Outlook. This white paper is published annually and provides our long-term, global forecast for economic activity and financial market returns for asset classes and economies.

As a member of Northern Trust's Investment Policy Committee, Daniel is part of a team of experts across various disciplines and geographic locales that produce long-term asset class forecasts and set strategic portfolio allocations and recommendations. As a portfolio manager for the Global Tactical Asset Allocation Fund, he is responsible for the management of a globally diversified portfolio. Daniel monitors the asset allocation framework to ensure the allocation is aligned with the firm's evolving investment views and changing market and economic conditions.

Daniel received his bachelor's degree in finance and economics from the University of Iowa and an MBA in finance, economics and international business from the University of Chicago. He is a CFA® charterholder.


Daryl Clements

Daryl Clements is one of the portfolio managers responsible for overseeing the firm’s various municipal bond accounts. He joined AB in 2002 as a municipal credit research analyst, responsible for evaluating municipal issuers nationwide, with a particular focus on the transportation, public power and tobacco-backed bonds sectors. In 2006, Clements joined the portfolio-management team and became a member of the Tax-Exempt Fixed Income Investment Policy Group.

Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate director for Financial Guaranty Insurance Company (FGIC) for six years, covering various issuers and sectors nationwide. For the five years prior to that, Clements was a research associate for Moody’s Investors Service, assigning ratings for the southwest region of the country and New York. He holds a BS in business, management and finance from Brooklyn College and an MBA in finance from Pace University. In 2008, he co-authored the “How to Analyze Airport Revenue Bonds” chapter in The Handbook of Municipal Bonds. Location: New York.


Dan Davidowitz, CFA

Dan joined Polen Capital in 2005. Dan is the lead portfolio manager of the firm’s flagship Focus Growth strategy. Prior to joining Polen Capital, Dan spent five years as Vice President and Research Analyst at Osprey Partners Investment Management. 

Before joining Osprey Partners, Dan spent one year as a Research Analyst at Value Line, Inc. and five years in the health care sector, holding various analytical positions at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dan received a B.S. with high honors in Public Health from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from the City University of New York, Baruch College Zicklin School of Business.

Dan is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of South Florida.

Moderator

Christina Worley, CPA/PFS, CFP®​, CFA

Christina Worley, CPA/PFS, CFP®, CFA is the founder and managing member of Castle Wealth Management, a SEC Registered Investment Advisory firm that manages over $400 million. Mrs. Worley founded the firm after moving to Florida from the Northeast with her husband in 1995. Prior to founding the firm, she worked at Arthur Young and Co. as an auditor, at Merrill Lynch International Bank as a Financial Analyst and at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as Territorial Controller of Real Estate Investment's, all these positions were in New York City. She received her CPA first in New York State and later qualified for her Florida CPA license. She obtained her PFS, CFP®, and CFA Charter designations after moving to Florida.

Mrs. Worley graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania at age 19. She belongs to many local professional associations. She is a past member of the FICPA state level Women in Leadership Committee and chaired their Mentoring subcommittee. She is currently a Past President of the CFA Society of South Florida. She has taught in the Junior Achievement program at the middle school and high school levels, as well as other Financial Literary and events to educate teens and women in Finance. She was recognized by South Florida Business Leader Magazine as a Top Women Business Leader in 2011 and was nominated as an Experienced Leader by the FICPA Women's Leadership Summit in 2011 and 2014. She has spoken frequently at local Private Wealth events in past years. She has been a long serving volunteer Board Member by Gubernatorial Appointment of the Palm Beach Country Early Learning Coalition, which has an annual budget of over $100 million, and has Chaired their Audit committee for the last few years. She currently serves as a volunteer on the Board of the West Palm Beach Center for Arts and Technology.

She has been happily married to her husband Scott, for 35 years, and they have three sons and one grandson.

On-site registrations are accepted on an exception basis and are payable with credit card only. To cancel, please send an email to [email protected] with your name, email address and CFA Society South Florida member ID (same as CFA Institute ID for regular and affiliate members)  if applicable. 

Advance registrations that fail to attend or that fail to cancel prior to 48 hours before the event will be billed at the non-member walk-in rate quoted for the event. If the event is subsidized for both members and non-members, late cancellations and no-shows may be billed at the actual cost per attendee. Cancellations for a full refund must be made at least 48 hours before an event. Registrations canceled within the last 48 hours prior to an event are not eligible for a refund.
