Mary Ann Bartels is Head of Technical & Market Analysis at BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research. She brings over 20 years of investment experience to this role and is well known by clients and business partners for developing various proprietary models for equity pairs trading and for her sector, industry and stock selection. Ms. Bartels is also known for her extensive work on Hedge Funds. She is the lead analyst on research publications such as Market Analysis Comment, Hedge Fund Monitor and Monthly Chart Portfolio of Global Markets. Ms. Bartels rejoined Merrill Lynch in 1999 working with the European Quantitative Strategy Team and became head of Global Equity Trading Research Strategy in 2001. Prior to rejoining Merrill Lynch, Ms. Bartels held portfolio manager positions at Batterymarch in Boston and Avatar/Zweig Associates in New York. For four consecutive years, Ms. Bartels has been voted to the Institutional Investor All-American Research team and was awarded second place in 2008 and 2009. She appears on CNBC and Bloomberg and is often quoted in various publications including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and Barron’s. Ms. Bartels earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Economics from Fordham University.

Sr. Fixed Income Strategist BNY Capital Markets
Marvin Loh is a Managing Director at BNY Mellon Capital Markets, where he is the firm’s senior fixed income market strategist. Mr. Loh monitors market, industry and credit developments, and formulates their impact on a wide range of fixed income asset classes, including corporates, high yield, emerging market and municipal bonds. He focuses on identifying relative value opportunities across various risk asset classes. He publishes BNY Mellon Capital Market’s Fixed Income Market Commentary and is a regular speaker at corporate and media events. Prior to joining BNY Mellon/Pershing in August, 2009, he was the Director of Research at W.R. Hambrecht, a boutique investment bank that pioneered the auction IPO process. Mr. Loh assembled an Institutional Investor ranked research team that focused on identifying disruptive business models that could provide above average long term investment returns. Mr. Loh has also held senior analyst roles in both the fixed income and equity markets at Oppenheimer and Company, Decision Economics, Fidelity Investments, Financial Guaranty Insurance Company and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. His credit and equity coverage has included analysis of the finance, specialty finance, healthcare, technology, energy and utility sectors. Mr. Loh graduated from New York University, where he obtained his Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance and Economics. He holds FINRA Series 7, 16, 24, 53, 55, 63, 86 and 87 licenses.

Don Rissmiller is a founding Partner of Strategas and has been the Firm's Chief Economist since 2006, directing its macroeconomic research effort. He oversees Strategas' high-frequency econometric forecasting and thematic economic research. Mr. Rissmiller's research has been consistently recognized by Institutional Investor magazine in their annual survey: he was ranked best up and coming economist in 2008, and was 3rd in their 2009 All-America Independent Research Team survey. He is frequently quoted in the financial press. Prior to co-founding Strategas in 2006, Mr. Rissmiller was an Economist and Managing Director at International Strategy & Investment (ISI) Group. Before joining ISI, he worked as an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he focused on the analysis of U.S. macroeconomic data and price/wage forecasting models. Mr. Rissmiller earned his bachelors degree magna cum laude in Economics from Harvard.

Richard Yaramone is an economist who has more than two decades of experience and focuses on monetary & fiscal policy, economic indicators, fixed income, commodities, and general macroeconomic conditions for Bloomberg Brief: Economics, a daily newsletter that features analysis, data and news on the forces shaping the global economy. Mr. Yamarone and the Bloomberg Briefs economics team provide in-depth analysis of macroeconomic data, policy and trends and how they will impact financial markets. Earlier in his career, Mr. Yamarone was director of economic research at Argus Research and a member of the firm's investment policy committee. He has consulted to monetary and fiscal policymakers and served as an economic adviser to major U.S. corporations. In addition, Mr. Yamarone has held senior positions for several international and domestic money center and investment banks. The author of Trader’s Guide to Key Economic Indicators (Bloomberg Press, 2007), Mr. Yamarone is a member of the National Association for Business Economists, the American Economic Association, the New York State Economics Association and the Money Marketeers of New York University. He has won numerous accolades for his work, including being featured as one of the top 10 economists in the U.S. by USA Today in 2007 and “Nosttradamus of the Financial Industry” by Bank Advisor in 2008 for his prediction of the financial crises.
