 Membership Overview
​CFA Society South Florida consists of over 500 professionals in a variety of investment professions, including portfolio managers, analysts, trust officers, consultants and pension, endowment and foundation fund executives. The majority of our members have earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) professional designation awarded by the CFA Institute. The membership reflects the diverse nature of the investment profession in the South Florida area. Members are employed by major corporations, associations, unions, national, state and local government agencies, financial regulators, academic institutions, investment managers, insurance companies, broker/dealers and consultants, among others.

​CFA Society South Florida has four classes of active membership:

  1. Regular
  2. Affiliate
  3. Professional Associate
  4. Student Associate

  • ​Socialize with peers in the industry and leaders in local and global investment community. Members can register for the annual holiday party and two networking events​ per fiscal year (July 1 through June 30​) free of charge.
  • Be part of a collective global voice to develop and protect the interests of the profession

 

Learn 
 
  • Attend lunch or dinner sessions including local signature events at discounted rates led by prominent industry leaders to stay abreast of relevant topics and trends. Members get complimentary attendance to annual equity panel.​
  • Obtain CFA Institute continuing education program​ credits available through events such as financial markets forecast and alternative investment panel​​. 
  • Save 20% on Cognitir's online courses, which help finance and business professionals obtain in-demand tech skills such as Python, data science, and SQL.
