CFA Society Stamford, the local chapter of the CFA Institute, covers Fairfield, CT and Westchester, NY counties. With over 150,000 CFA Charterholders (and another nearly 200,000 pursuing their charter) in over 151 Societies in 58 countries, the CFA charter has become the global professional investment credential. CFA Institute is a self-regulatory organization that requires strict adherence to a code of ethics and objective financial analysis on the part of its members.
In the past few years, directly because of growing interest from the Hedge Fund and Private Wealth Management communities, CFA Society Stamford membership has grown from 195 to 600+ members. Our database also includes over 5,600 people who live or work in our area who have gone through the application and examination process in pursuit of their CFA charters. CFA Society Stamford is one of the fastest-growing US societies (3x the rate of other US Societies) because of the expanding finance and investment industry in our area. We have a Jobline that is quite popular (almost 98% of the people who visit our site visit the Jobline pages) – so we know our stakeholders are focused on that area of our service to our members.
